Entry

The race will be held under a Trail Running Association permit.

  • The race is held under UK Athletics rules.
  • Minimum age 17 on the day of the race.
  • Due to UKA rules you cannot run the race with a dog.
  • This is a cup-free race. More details will be provided closer to the time, but this means you will need to bring your own water bottle or collapsible cup.
  • There is no formal cut-off, but participants are expected to generally keep moving throughout, with only short breaks.

Entry is £22 for members of the TRA or clubs affiliated to EA/UKA and £24 for unattached runners (please do not tick the box on the entry screen if your club is not affiliated). Entry is online only – please click on the link below once entries are open to be taken to the SiEntries system. If you have not used this system before you will need to register first.

2025 ENTRIES EXPECTED TO OPEN SPRING 2025

You will receive an email confirming your entry and a list of runners can also be found on the SiEntries website. There is a limit of 200 runners and entries will close on 16 October or when the limit is reached. Please note that in 2022 the entry limit was reached within two months of opening. We do not operate a waiting list, but you should keep an eye on the race Facebook page for anyone advertising their place.

There are no entries on the day and no information will be sent out by post. Race numbers should be collected from race HQ on the morning of the event. Please leave sufficient time to register. In the event that you cannot run there are no refunds or deferrals but you may substitute an alternative runner by logging into the SiEntries system by 16 October, after which the entry list will be frozen. The race Facebook page is a good place to advertise for a substitute.
