It was a Cracker of a weekend for twenty-six Running Forever members who took the short trip up the M5 to play on the sand at the Weston Christmas Cracker 10K. Donning their fancy dress, Santa hats and tinsel our brave contingent dodged showers, sandstorms and a bit of a breeze. At the interestingly named Cockington Caper 7.5 mile event, Pete Stretton was crowing about his 1.56 finish.
This week’s parkrun tourists visited Bath Skyline, Killerton, Cranleigh, Cassiobury, Exmouth, Stratford Park and Severn Bridge. Twenty one tackled the Longrun Meadow course where Darren Purchase and Richard Mackrory had PBs.
